BREAKING: FG releases list of sacked DGsr

President Muhammadu has approved the immediate disengagement of the Chief Executives of 26 parastatals and agencies of the Federal Government.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir David Lawal, issued on Monday in Abuja, said the President also directed that the most senior officers in the organisations should oversee the activities of the agencies “pending the appointment of substantive CEOs.”
The agencies are Nigerian Television Authority; Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria; Voice of Nigeria; News Agency of Nigeria; National Broadcasting Commission; Petroleum Technology Development Fund; New Partnership for Africa’s Development ; Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund; and Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board.
Others are Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria; Tertiary Education Trust Fund; National Information Technology Development Agency; Petroleum Equalisation Fund; Nigeria Railways Corporation; Bureau of Public Procurements; Bureau of Public Enterprises; Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency and Standard Organization of Nigeria.
The Presidency also removed the Chief Executives of National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control; Nigeria Investment Promotion Council; Bank of Industry; National Centre for Women Development; National Orientation Agency; Industrial Training Fund; Nigerian Export-Import Bank and National Agency for Prohibition of Traffic In Persons and Other Related Matters.
The President, however, thanked them for their invaluable services to the nation and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
